• Did you know Louise was a vegetarian who grew up on a cattle ranch?
• Did you know her husband had a PhD in mechanical engineering?
• Did you know Louise’s mother, Frances Hyde had a college degree from Northeastern.
• Did you know Louise was married to Neal Cook for 51 years?
• Did you know Louise couldn’t carry a tune….at all!!!
• Did you know Louise couldn’t swim?
• Did you know Louise stayed in Paris with her sister Ann, while Ann was in fashion design school?
• Did you know Louise attended the 4H convention in Kansas City as a teenager?
• Did you know Louise herded cattle on foot and horseback as a child?

My grandmother, Louise, just passed away.

I will miss you Nana. You were amazing. You loved, you healed, you eased other people. I always thought it was amazing that someone your age didn't judge people on their skin color, religion, sexual preference, politics, etc... You helped pass that on to me. (Well, maybe not politics!) I am a better man for having been your grandson.

Enjoy the next phase of your spiritual existence. I know you will!
